Grandpet
Grandpet was developed in 72 hours for Ludum Dare 57: Depths.
THERE ARE 5 ENDINGS. CAN YOU FIND THEM ALL?
Grandpet draws inspiration from the flash webgames of yesteryear, back when I still had a sparkle in my eye. I yearn for those times more than you could possibly understand. The internet felt so much more intimate back then, and participating in Ludum Dare is the closest thing I’ve found to emulating the feeling of those times. The community is tight-knit, friendly and super supportive - while at the same time I get to play countless short games from people who are actually passionate about game development. This game serves as both a nod to that and a personal experiment, as we’d never attempted a point-and-click adventure prior to this. We had a lot of fun putting this together and we hope you guys enjoy trying to find all 5 endings.
CONTROLS

v0.1.1 BUGFIX PATCHNOTES
- Resetting the game (R) no longer leads to the clock ticks doubling indefinitely and speeding up time
- Untangled spaghetti that was breaking certain voicelines and most endings
- Fixed grandpet phasing through walls. The collisions are still fucky but if you don’t play like you’re playtesting it should be fine lol
- Removed unused assets
v0.1.2 BUGFIX PATCHNOTES
- Made it so you can drag your grandpet up through ceiling hatches rather than clicking them
- Patched a bug that made you go to the bathroom when you tried to enter the closed exit door
- Patched a bug that made it easier to escape even though nobody has said they actually managed to escape yet
